Where are your Makerspaces and how do I sign up to use them?

Answer

    • Geauga County Public Library has two maker spaces.  One can be found at the Bainbridge Branch (17222 Snyder Road, Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023), and the other at the Chardon Creativity Center inside Chardon High School (151 Chardon Ave, Chardon, OH 44024) across the street from the Chardon municipal pool on Maple Ave.  While the Bainbridge maker space is open during normal library operating hours the Chardon maker space is open Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
    • You must have a valid GCPL/Clevnet library card, take the mandatory training for the equipment of wish to use, and sign the user agreement before you can reserve a session. You can register for training sessions online; all sessions are self-service.  To use the Chardon Creativity Center, you must register in advance, no walk-ins are allowed at this time.  For more information, please contact the Bainbridge and Chardon Libraries or email makerspace@geaugalibrary.net.
